Earlier this year I got to a place in my life where I started asking the hard questions, “Where am I going? And, “What am I doing?” I just realised that I’m not living in my God created purpose. I was made to love the lost, to go and build God’s Kingdom in the most ungodly places. I am finally ready to do it for the right reasons and I realize that the journey I’ve walked up to now has prepared me for where I am going.
On 10 September I will be flying to Thailand. I am joining up with the YWAM team based in Chiang Mai. The first year I will be doing the School of Frontier Missions, which is a school that is focused on preparing a person for full time ministry in Asia. (For more information go to the YWAM SOFM page on my website). The year is broken up into lecture phases while practically being involved in a ministry.
I’ve been blessed by a friend to be able to put a website in place which will be a platform that I can use to keep in contact with everybody. ‘Journey Redeemed’ is my story. A story of a messed-up life redeemed by a Loving and Powerful God who never gave up on me. A story that gives tribute to every person who has ever walked a step with me. You gave me hope to never give up. You taught me about unconditional love and gave me the strength to have faith again. You showed me Jesus in action, and now I can offer the same to the people around me.
Please have a read through the site as it is a true reflection of my heart.
I am looking forward to sharing this journey with you. One of the most important things that I have learned over the years is the importance of relationship and community. Each of us play a vital role in building God’s Kingdom and we can not do it on our own.
